In this video we have a look at my Harrington & Richardson 999 Sportsman revolver, 2nd model, chambered for the .22 Long Rifle round. This is a top break revolver with a nine shot cylinder and is capable of single and double action. The revolver has a six inch barrel and is of all steel construction.

  • ohh..you shot with tenex eley...too expensive for me

  • @raducultras ??? There was no Eley used in this video.

  • I have an H&R Sportsman. I dont see 999 on mine though. According to a site online, mine was built around 1938 or 1939. I bought it from a friend of mine and it needs a good cleaning. Fun gun to shoot though. My grips are different than yours. My wooden grips dont split. They wrap around the back where your palm would hold the gun. Good video and thanks for sharing with us.

  • @clewi1091 They made those old style grips in something like eight different sizes to fit different sized hands!

  • my dad has a H&R 949, you hafto load and eject each round individually it definitely isnt a fast gun

  • @demonchacer Yeah, I've had my hands on one of those, not high speed but still plenty of fun.
