Y'know, they could raise the cash to sustain the Coyotes in a day if they'd put Buttman in a goal and let the players take shots at him. I know I'd pay to see that!

The league continues to be a write-off on U.S. television. Most of Bettman's sun-belt franchises have glossed attendance figures; and the league never needed thirty teams!
