this one, Budapest by Blimp, Airwaves, Submarines, Suitcase, I Love you Goodbye, The Flat Earth, Neon Sisters, all pure gems by one of the greatest song-writers and synth masters of al times. So much good music besides the hits. TOP100 with The Fixx, Eight Seconds, Prefab Sprout (no wonder) and many others.

Best outro to a song ever!

a thing of rare beauty, can never decide between this and the flat earth; both inspired work! By chance today happened to come across this link and can see TD is playing at a venue 3 miles away in Nov 11.......such a beautiful melody...thanks TD X

Oh yes, my favourite Dolby song too, together with I scare myself.

Reminds me of all the nights I spent talking to my ex (then best friend) before we moved away somewhere entirely new together. *sniff*
Such a lovely song, and one of the few uses of the Fairlight CMI synthesiser/sampler that doesn't sound unnatural.

Simplesmente fantástica esta canção!!!
Ela sempre esteve entre minhas canções favoritas. Pena que as pessoas, de modo geral não tem capacidade pra entender o tamanho da obra desse cara. Enfim, é mesmo pra poucos.

My brother and I used to listen to this song as bright young teenagers ready to take on the world.
I took a long time for us to figure out what the song was actually about - at first we thought it was abstract lines and loved it for that, but the real meaning is all the more powerful, especially for me 25 years later with my brother already 7 years in his grave after his own suicide.
To listen to it now is sad, depressing, comforting, and ultimately beautiful.

As for this song, it reminds me of a girl I dated briefly in 1992 when she lived in New England but then moved away to southern California. But even more importantly, Dolby and many other artists remind me of my brother, who I lost in 1997, not to suicide but to a terrible illness. I use music, which was his greatest love, as a way to stay connected to him. Regardless of memories and past pain, this song will always be one of my all time favorites.
