My Brother's MTH O Gauge train layout. It has four loops and five sidings. On the upper layer there is a UP SD70M followed by a non-powered CSX AC6000, and a Premier 4-6-2 Blue Comet passenger set. On the lower layer there is a Premier PRR J1 2-10-4 and a Premier 4-6-4 NYC J1e Hudson. Other engines that run on the layout but are not running in the video are a Premier PRR 4-8-2 M1-b, a Premier NYC 4-6-4 Dryfuss Hudson, a Premier CSX AC6000, a Premier UP 4-8-4 FEF Northern #844, a premier N&W Y6b, a premier Conrail SD60M (with non-powered unit), and a Railking NP 0-6-0 Switcher.

****Update 2/8/12 Various changes have occured to this layout since this video was taken. An updated video will hopefully be up by mid-spring. The incredible electric current draw of all the buildings has caused 2 power supplies to burn up in the last year and we are hoping to get a new one. It would not look right to make a video without the buildings lit. Keep posted for a new video.

  • This layout has a very nice winter setting. It's pleasant to watch.

  • @BrooklynRalph Thanks. Glad you liked it.

  • Your layout looks fantastic. I was hoping when morning came we would get a close up of the locos, buildings, accessories, maybe a guided tour of the layout. Congradulations on a beautiful piece of work.

  • @JJosephS1 Thanks. maybe sometime it will... and i will haha. there are more engines now then there were and now there is a small extension on the right side with 2 sidings...(there is no such thing as finishing a layout)

  • Where did you get the scenic buildings from and train tracks?

  • @Daxson311 the buildings are all made by mth (including bridges) and the tracks are made by atlas. platform and supports for the upper level are made with plywood and 2x4s. The action accessories are also made by mth.
