  • Yes, that's heat distribution through the structural members of the car hood.

  • @CurtHowland Party pooper.

  • I think it's because the structural members of the hood on the bottom side. Maybe because they have more mass they hold heat slightly longer?

  • @Demon4403 Well that's probably the easy answer, but I prefer the demonic possession explanation. It's more exciting.

  • It's a Subaru with a 2.5 liter engine. Some of those were known to have cylinder head gaskets that would fail. If those fail, you'll think it IS demonic possession when you see the bill from your mechanic! I think the snow picture shows the symmetry of life and harmony with nature that one gets from an AWD Subaru when it snows.

  • It's clearly a vagina.

  • Actually car manufacturers do this all the time. It's carefully calculated so that the heat distributes in this pattern, especially when they are to be used in areas where snowfall is likely. The heat pattern is designed to cause the snow to melt in such a way as to convey subliminal messages, causing you to perform duties in your sleep for the car company.

    This is why capitalism sucks.

  • Hmmmm...could it be........SATAN

  • pffff heat patterns schmeet patterns!

This is another obvious sign of the Apocalypse. I thought you knew.

  • @AnarchyInYourHead Understanding the reasons behind the beauty in the world doesn't make them less beautiful. :^)

When I saw the thumbnail I thought maybe someone had used a sheet of liquid crystal to actually make a car hood which would change colors from heat distribution, a Rorschach test for Highway Patrol officers or something.

  • Dude, it's a sign from God! Sell it on eBay.
