In 2008, Ron Paul's presidential campaign sent shock waves through the political establishment and sparked a revolution of ideas. I will not be surprised if you Americans don't vote for him, simply because CNN & NBC fail to give him any attention. @syzygy502 Ending the Fed and IRS wouldn't be catastrophic, we didn't have all that crap before FDR. In his defense it worked to pull the US out of the Great Depression (which was caused by the Federal Reserve, btw) but put us several steps toward Socialism. We have been moving ever closer since. Every time the government hires another employee for another useless agency, every time another douche-fag gets a check without working for it, every time the government makes another bs regulation

He has always voted AGAINST his pay raises, against anything that gives the federal government more control, against the government starting and funding all the stupid agencies it thinks it has to have. Here's how the government thinks and works: "Oh no, there was [insert bad thing] we have to spend billions of dollars and hire hundreds of thousands of people for another new agency to ensure that it never happens again"

@syzygy502 You...haven't ever listened to anything he has to say have you? For over 30 years in Congress he's always voted against their salary raises, wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve, the IRS, all the other alphabet soup agencies, and pretty much anything that isn't specifically covered in the Constitution and let the states take care of whatever happens in their borders. He is anathema to everything everybody else stands for and always has been (and I mean that in a good way)
