If you like unique bikes that perform, the CVO line is the ticket. But for some reason, a lot of times they become stagnant on the showroom floor and don't sell. However that is when you can make a hell of a deal. This is mid-March, 2011, and I just purchased a FXDFSE Screaming Eagle Fat Bob 2009 model, at less than dealer cost because it sat there 2 yrs. Couldn't be happier with the bike. And the 110 will scream

Harley's are priced high because they are the best and most selling bikes out there, and another thing is that they retain value not like all those other piece of shits inluding japs bikes

XL883s don't have any chrome.
What pits is the polished aluminum.
If it's a defect get it replaced under warranty. You have 2 years.

The chrome on my 8 month old Sportster is rusting........one hour on a wet road and the finish is pitted! It was coated in WD-40 as well! Folks tell me that the wheels are low quality chromed in Taiwan??

Oh, BTW, that chrome is a lot easier to keep clean than alloy ofter a couple of years.

Harley is awesome. but the price is madness. If they don't something about that. the japs will make a clean sweep. it's only a matter of time. Wake up harley.

I wouldnt swap my stock XL883 for any of these faggot wagons! Chrome sucks.....alloy is cool.Apehangers are for retards....low bars are for handling....gaudy paint jobs are vulgar in the extreme.....black is where its at.
