Giving it last minute thought, I wonder if Ward will be able to capitalize on the game plan Calzaghe used to beat Kessler. Ward is definitely as quick and athletic as Calzaghe if not as good overall at this point in his career. As they say, speed kills, however I still favor Mikkel.

ward is overrated. Will be exposed like lacy did. Americans tend to hype their boxers way to much than they deserve. Ward tends to drop his guards, hasnt boxed any real opposition, and isnt usual to fight european style fighters, especially not as skilled and powerful as kessler.

About Time.....Good Job, from the moment you picked Ward in the final 2 minutes of the Vid and when you explain Why, I couldn't agree more thats a lot of the reason I think he will win. I have been telling people leaving comments all over youtube telling people that Ward is smart and stays out of trouble majority of the time and picks his shots and then moves out the way...Good Vid and Prediction

I really like Ward, but Kessler is just a tall, tall order this early on in Ward's development. You definitely undersell Kessler's movement. Kessler is a very smart, technical fighter. He doesnt make mistakes. This fight definitely goes all 12 but Ward better keep this thing in the center of the ring or he's going to get beat up against the ropes. Kessler wins a close, hard fought decision. I like Ward to do big things in the future tho and beat pretty much anyone else at 168, but Abraham.
