good to know. I wish I knew this before I went through my universal antenna fiasco.
Hah, I knew when I saw 97.9 hip hop it was Houston. I used to live there. Cool video, man.

@RAF92Warhawk hahha! yea well i was trying to figure out a way to get rid of the rear antennae motor weight while being able to still get the radio cast of my times.

@DoThe2 Glad I could help! I hope to make a lot of other instructional videos in the future. The windshield antenna works great, and like you said, the stock rear antenna really is an eyesore when it's up.

Awesome video man, I was wondering what that second antenna wire was for. It all makes sense now. I'll be thrilled to unplug the factory antenna, it's so ugly when it's up.

@elcoyoludo thanks, I threw the packaging away a long time ago, but it is simply a universal antenna adapter to GM vehicles. Whenever anyone with a GM vehicle upgrades to an aftermarket head unit, they have to use that adapter, so it is really easy to find.

what type of on glass antenna do you have?

@Grimace916 It's the factory toyota windshield, the MR2's with a premium soun system option came with an antenna embedded into the windshield.
