I change a thought to change a feeling.
I change a thought and the way I see the world changes. The world seems slightly different, yet the only thing that has changed is something in me.
By considering that it is possible to see this differently, a healing within my thoughts has occurred, understanding occurs, a new perspective occurs, which allows me to move into right action....to do something or to do nothing, but to do so with wisdom and self-awareness.

@moled83 If you want to ban or move away from religion, perhaps you shouldn't be watching a lecture by a Jesuit priest? Try lectures by Stalin perhaps?
-
@AOEGuy I know a lot of priests and nuns who own his books and who met him while he still lived--didja see the priest who INTRODUCED HIM as one of his best friends?

I am so sorry, for all the people who believe that God is like they think he is from their church and brainwashing.
I am not even free myself of this picture...

I agree with you and totally support the idea about self-observation I also think this is the key to inner peace, let's hope that someday we'll reach the point where we'll stop looking for divinity outside and start looking it inside.

Maybe not. Who is to ban these "religions?" Who has that kind of authority? Terrible things happened in "communist" countries which had banned religion. Did they not?
I think the real authority is in each one of us. I think it is only the individual who can really "ban" this conflict which starts inside, in our thoughts, feelings, wants, desires.
We all want to change the world. We try to understand it first, right?
Let's start with ourselves. Understanding ourselves... Self-observation.

I am sorry moled83. "Funny" was the wrong word...
It is very sad what's happened to the little child. You are asking a good question: "Where does the father take all the ideas from?"
We hear of horrendous things parents do to their children. Do they all get their "ideas" from religion? Maybe.

I live in society where there are thousands of these people, fanatics or whathever, so please don't say it's funny because I don't find it funny at all. Religions should be banned because it's dangerous, I know someone can say that it's not religion that has beaten my friend, of course not but where do you think his father took all the ideas from?Should be banned once and for all beacuse they are dangerous

A friend of mine live in a family who consider themselves to be real catholic. They go to church couple of times a week and so on... One sunday they discovered that his son spent an hour on pitch playing with kids instead being in church, he didn't like it there so he was telling parents that he's in church but really he was somwhere elese, anyway when they found that about it ,he was beaten badly by his father, badly meaning kicking by his father that he berely could walking after that.
The official catholic church and the pope doesn't like his teachings because they EMPOWER people and show them WHAT BEING HUMAN REALLY IS!

Yes, definitely.
Love is not judging, not blaming, it is understanding.
I understand that church to be programmed over almost two millenia to guide, control, dominate. They have taken it too far. It is funny the cardinal-to-be-pope excommunicated him only after he died.
