@overtenemy69 ignorant shit.

@TheCakeIsALieGxG Sure, there is going to have to be a lot of "frontier justice", but at the same time, we need to hang on to the concept of society. Scavenging will only get you so far, you need people who can build, people who can farm, people who can adapt, people who can rally and galvanize and organize people, ect.
People have this heroic post apocalyptic notion of survival that frankly is ridiculous. Real long term survival is done by utilizing and increasing a group of people.

Id fucking jump out dat window and beat her ass

@CaIlidus One of the reasons everyone is so aggressive is because not only has society and everything they have known been destroyed, but in order to survive post apocalyptic situations often times you have to regress to some of the most primal actions to stay alive... which, let's face it, very few of us today use/are comfortable with using.
Not to mention you have to face these hostile people who 9 times out of 10 won't WANT to negotiate. You have something they want, you mean nothing.

I can see how survival would be difficult, I read all these comments. I know there won't be no need for morals. But holy shit everyone is aggressive, I know you would want to survive, but it can easily be solved with negotiating. You know when there is a conflict and when action is a must. Whatever the case I can see why people are more afraid of the people who lose it than surviving.

jsut get out with some pipes and kick her qass and take the knife omfg

I would've taken the knife back with force. :3

...the chicks on the colony are useless. Even if for sex, they'll get you killed.
-
EXACTLY!

@ipodkiller6 true. If only the redid zimbardo's prison experiment correctly. Then we'd have a good show.
Yeah, I think in a real scenario there would be a lot more of a "Shoot first, ask questions later" approach to 'negotiations'. Shoot her, take her knife, then save her body for food ;)

it's hard to watch because it's so obviouly fake, but i really like it. the idea of a post-apocalyptic colony trying to survive has always been interesting to me. it's just so hard to take anything they say seriously when the people know everything is staged and they're not in any real danger..
