Manhattan Bridge in Red Green and Blue - with sound
The video is an accelerated visual analysis of the bridge, its underlying structure and beauty in its design, while addressing the fundamentals of color in video as a medium. A techno-color progression beginning in Dumbo (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) in Brooklyn progressing across to the East River through the Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade in Chinatown.
The Manhattan Bridge in Red Green and Blue was commissioned for large scale projection on the Manhattan Bridge Anchorage as part of "Bright Nights", curated by Christina Vassallo for the Manhattan Bridge Centennial 1909-2009. Participating artists include: Burak Arikan, Motomichi Nakamura, Marius Watz and Lee Wells

Hi Will. Thanks for the good words and being the first to view it on youtube. The Manhattan bridge is truly an engineering and design marvel. For as great as the Brooklyn Bridge is in its simplicity and grace, the Manhattan Bridges level of detail is amazing. cheers, lee
