He's actually Bipolar with Psychotic tendencies -- he talks about how in his teen years he was severly depressed and had suicidal thoughts. When his wife left him, taking their daughter with her, I think he went back into that more. Most of his songs talk about that.

Blue October is one of my favorite bands if not my favorite! The lyrics are so meaningful, I love the 'I can't believe' echoing in the background from his earlier song 'Calling You'! What bugs me about this song is what they say in the music break. Does it say "We're recording you'? It can be just me hearing this!
