Diane Baker, legendary actress & Executive Director of the School of Television & Motion Picture for SF's prestigious Academy of Art University (www.academyart.edu) is interviewed by TV veteran Jack Hanson for Comcast's "Newsmakers" (7/10/09)
Heavens to Murgatroid! What a delightful interview to watch today for the first time. I've had a crush on the lovely & talented Ms Baker since the 60's. Still a very attractive lady. She obviously has intelligence, grace, class & wit to spare; something lacking in most of today's performers. THANK YOU for sharing this fascinating footage with us! :)
I'm not so lucky as to know her, but I've seen her in many films and interviews and everything you said about her seems 100% accurate to me. She's so graceful and beautiful in a simple, charming way. I've been told class and grace are acquired things, and that it's wrong to judge those who don't possess it, but it's sad that our society now places little importance on wit, charm, grace, class and manners, because I know many young women that would do well to emulate someone of this stature.
Diane Baker is just the best. Period....
