@typehere9000 Then u are not from Lusaka, or Africa for that matter, and u only want to believe what u see on tv, was born and brought up in Lusaka, and can associate, with these places, yes we do have places like mtendere, matero, kanyama and then there is kabulonga, woodlands, rhodes park, northmead, libala, chilenje, makeni. Be proud of who u are and appreciate, u don't hear westerners criticizing their own.

I think the problem here is that we are trying to identify a "real" Zambia when no "real" Zambia exists, just as no "real" anything exists. Zambia like everywhere else is complex and diverse...we cant essentialize it into one common entity. It's many entities overlapping, intersecting and colliding with one another. So...it's both this hotel and the red dirt roads leading to the Copperbelt, both urban and rural, affluent and modest, rich and poor.

This is the perfect video that shows the real Zambia most of the video that other people make are for them to be stealing money from other countries.
Did you know there 37 million people living beyond the poverty line in the united states they dont show that but they want to get videos of only the poor in some remote areas in africa and to show thats what there. This video shows no biasness but the real zambia and the real Africa.Best place to be in the world.And the best place for investment,

I agree. I spent over 2 years in Zambia and if you really want to go deep into Zambia, hop on a bus, then mini-bus, then hitchhike and get off the beaten path to experience the true Zambia. Friendliest people on the planet. Siningayembekeze kuyendani ku Zambia!!!
