Ase said that she would like to invite all the televiewers to vote, but the technology was not ready for that. That was the first mention about televoting 11 years before it actually applied in Dublin 1997.

Sorry folks,it was his "Great granfather"who was scottish.The surname is a famous scottish one though.Bergen is excellant and if you go up the cable car you get a fantastic view(flobanen or something).

The "anthem" that Sissle sings is Bergen city's song. In Norwegian "Jeg tok min nystemte citar" It's great, and of course Sisels has become extremely popular since this contest. Pairing up with Placido Domingo among others. But the quality of this clip is very poor. Hope someone can post it over!

Remember this as if it was yesterday.Bergen is beautiful by the way.Home of a famous scot composer"Edward Greig"called "Greeg",by the locals.
