I heard that same absurd argument ("it's for the children") when I was part of a mixed race couple. I chose to ignore it because I knew that no matter what you are like as a child, someone is going to try to make you feel bad about yourself. Result: my children are fine, and haven't experienced any sort of drama because of their mixed heritage.

my understaning is that it was the judges personal choice NOT to marry them. He never said they couldnt get married by someone else.

if he thinks those two will produce undesirable kids then thats his opinion hell maybe he knws something we dont about the prospective parents
