Harley Davidson XR1200 video 011.avi hitting 140 MPH

Contrary to some please wacth the speedo and you will observe the bike hitting the 140 MPH mark. And this is with a bad tuck because of where I had to mount the camera

There is no top speed limiter. The limit is the gearing that comes stock. I have chain drive on my bike and changed the final drive ratio.

Bike had chain conversion. 3.17 final drive. Pipercross air filter. V&H widows with FuelPak tuner. Other than that.......stock. Read other posts for more info & current setup

sweet, i have the same set up. but did you have to tune your ecu to remove the top speed limiter? i really havent tried to go past 125 but i was just wonder. Thanks!

Very good! This bike with a good injection setup can get an amazing speed.

140 is tops with that set-up. Had to back the gearing down alittle because I burned the clutch up in 750 miles (too tall). Now the bike comfortably and quickly tops at 130. I have a 55 tooth rear (instead of 52) and a front drive sprocket of 24 (instead of 26). Remember this is chain drive now. When I get cams and a much better clutch, I'll raise it again. Don't think I'll see much more then either, unless I work on weight and aerodynamics.

Very cool. Is 140 pretty much top? Mine is all stock except I have the V&H widow, and harley race tuner It was dynoed and tuned by the H-D dealer. I posted the numbers on my exhaust demo video, cant remember exactly what they were as I write this. Thanks!
