I was thinking of JV's Libertarian political bent, and the 'black helicopters' image used by conspiracy theorists as the symbol of gov't serveillence and repression. That's why I said he didn't like the helipcopter as a joke. But I now see that it could be taken as a reference to how SRV died, which is something I would never joke about. If I would have thought of that, I wouldn't have made the post.
