So..umm...the majority vast in prison are black and brown. The majority of these inmates are imprisoned due to minor drug possession.

Let's remember: drug possession.

That is occurring despite the majority of drug users being white, and for, marijuana (the major crop), consumer at the highest per capita rate for whites than any minority. Regardless of those realities, the majority in US prisons aren't white, but black.

I ask, how does these mechanisms help narrow things down? Do tell us.

yeas racisl profiling helps narrow things down. but terrorism is not a racial issue, its a regional issue. ppl from anywhere, black brown yellow red or white, dont like us.

And the sad part about it, the main ones that do racially profiling, are the ones that can tell and Arab from a Brazilian.

XrisSmiles Ok absent of racial profiling, lets see how that works. APB-please be on a lookout of a person in his 30's who has committed a murder. Not narrow enough is it? But Police wouldnt say lookout for Arab man Or Asian, oh wait we can say Asian White, just not black? After 9/11 who do you mostly check in airports? Asians, Hispanics, White, Black? Arabs isnt it? Racial profiling helps to narrow things down, that what it all suppose to be about.
