Celebrate 233 years of our great country the United States of America. Today is Independence Day.

Before I go into the summary listed below, there is a YouTube video was posted in July 2007, a month before the governor was selected as Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) running mate. I want you to visit the link posted.

The Republican governor was Senator John McCain's pick for vice president.

Governor Sarah Palin was announced in Dayton, Ohio back in August 2008.

Possible speculations include a shot at the presidential race, ethical scandals, quitting politics and many other issues surround the governor.

Many conservative talk show hosts ranging from Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren and John Ziegler devote massive defense to a seemingly divisive politician. Believe me, this will be the talk on most news and talk radio outlets.

Earlier this year, the governor was engage in a feud with late night talk show host David Letterman. The feud helped drive Letterman's ratings up.

Palin has been controversial, but one can't help but find sympathy for a mother of five children and one grandchild.

I wish Sarah Palin and her family much luck and success.

There's speculations of many other Republicans willing to take on President Barack Obama. Who could take on a popular president?

Gallup Poll - Obama's job approval 62% - 31%. For more information visit http://gallup.com
