This Telecaster line features aged ash bodies and maple necks to provide you with the look and feel of a true 1950s Tele. The distressed hardware looks like its been in too many bar fights and the distressed lacquer gives the look and feel of a guitar that has seen it all. The Fender Road Worn Tele is upgraded with Tex Mex Tele pickups for a slightly stronger bite with a hotter signal while still retaining that vintage Tele twang and snap. I tried one of these yesterday and I thought it was fantastic.A fifties style Tele which has all the attributes you require and a whole lot cheaper than a reissue.Regardless of the vibe it's a great guitar and will last forever.I've had both 52 and 62 reissues.
