My take on the collapse of CA coming very soon to your area. Foodstamps at all time high unemployement benefits at all time highs. But the governments say we are having a recovery.

  • I do not understand. We all agree that competition(depriving others of resources for personal advancement) brings about the most "wealth". So why is everybody bumming, eventually, there can only be one winner, and that time has arrived! You all should be happy and worship the Bankers, look at how good they are at competition. Admire them! Now, if everyone believed in cooperation with fellow man and the environment, you all would have a reason to belly ache!

  • @peoplearegood100

  • Calpers in april was worth about 245 billion

today they are worth 205 billion

    15% lose

and they just lost 1.65 billion on BP plus no more div for a while

.84 per share per QTR 50.5 million dollars lost per QTR

CA just keeps going down more and more

Help I have fallen and can't get up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), the United States' largest public pension fund, owned 58.2 million BP shares valued at $585.7 million on April 20, according to Clark McKinley, a fund spokesman. As of June 9, the fund owned 60.1 million shares worth $345.3 million, a mere fraction of CalPERS' $205.2 billion total market value.

  • @smokesignals2012

60.1 million shares are now worth about 1.8 billion dollars as of the closr of market 06/23

In april the 60.1 million shares were worth about 3.45 billion dollars close of 57.34

that is a 1.65 billion dollar lose, plus the div is going away for a while

Clark can't count plus they bought more shares that were going down they lost even more than they would have

  • @vawt1953 , It is like this, Americans dont care about the atrocities that our govt has commited over the last 2 centuries, we all were happy to accept the spoils of war, genocide, you know, havent you read history. So now they have turned their sights to us, boo fucking hoo, you lost your trinkets, innocent children are losing their lives to our rapist troops right now, and your worried about keeping up with the Jones.
