Elvis is the most beautiful man , even in 1977 he was handsome. Bless his heart everyone picked on him. He did nothing other stars havent done themselves.

Everyone I have read about who knew Elvis or worked with him, tells about how good he treated everyone around him and how generous he was, that is the reason why people love Elvis and not just his music. The weight problems and his use of medications had nothing to do with being a good person. Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, The Roling Stones, The Beatles and MANY others did real illegal drugs and the dont get blamed for it like Elvis did and do, maybe its because people are jealous of his greatness.

Nice to talk to you too :) I think he knew what he was doing and noone to blame. Even if the colonel was pushing him to work more and more he was an adult he could have stopped to take a rest anytime. I reckon that he didnt want to get old he just pushed it to the limit and it was over. Its a wonder that he lived that long seeing the amount of meds he was taking daily.

I havent read the book yet Ive only seen the interviews and they seemed to be honest about wanting to shake things up and save him from certain death.
Elvis = the whole package: greatest looks, greatest style, greatest talent.
