Strongman Japan Long Course Triathlon in Miyakojima (宮古島トライアスロン)

Miyakojima (Miyakojima Island or Miyako Island) is my favorite place in Japan. One of Japan's oldest long-course triathlons, STRONGMAN JAPAN is held in Miyakojima. It may be regarded as a 'boutique' race and is one of the best. The swim, bike and run courses are not too challenging. The hospitality is wonderful.

To everyone on one of the world's most beautiful islands, Miyakojima, and it's neighboring island, THANK YOU, ARRIGATO GOSAIMASU, TANDI-GA-TANDI, for hosting us with such class, grace, care, and thoughtfulness. The triathlon is one of the most enjoyable in the world, and the experience of meeting the people and learning the culture made it even more amazing. Also, few triathlons in the world have events surrounding the race as phenomenal as Strongman All-Japan Triathlon!

@Hammstah Sorry for the L...O...N...G delay in replying to your comment about StrongMan Japan.......I only just noticed it now.I have been to a few IronMan races and have left feeling a bit disappointed due to their commercialism. I did StrongMan three times and loved each and every race. Am planning on joining the Miyakojima 100km marathon in January next year. Nostalgia!!!
