Game Gear Mega Man: Dr. Wily- Final Stage and Credits

Dr. Wily's Skull Castle stage from Mega Man for the Sega Game Gear. A few obvious things to note here. First off, this is Dr. Wilys one and only castle stage, and we don't get any teleporter room as featured in the previous NES Mega Man titles. So no robot master rematches. This stage is really composed of two parts. The first section is Quick mans stage slightly remodeled. However, this time around the beams here are not instant death. The second section of this stage is simply a replica of MM5's Skull Castle stage 3. Only difference is instead of teleporting to the boss rematch room, you show up at the final battle. Dr. Wily's attack here is exactly the same as his last form in MM5...and it's annoying. He appears randomly. So I tried to find a spot where he doesn't appear directly above me...but no luck. And that attack that falls to the floor is harder than it looks to avoid. Well, that wraps up this game...surprisingly short when compared to most other MM games.

Let's see here... Mega Man enters Wily's castle, destroys Dr. Wily, then blows up Cossack's Citadel for the heck of it. That's good on its own, but that Mission Perfect! message is what sets me off laughing every time. That's one of the best stupid endings ever.

I don't know why Dr Cossack's castle exploded and not Dr Wily's. I always believed Dr Cossack was a good guy. seems confusing to me but oh well.

It's possible that the reason why Cossack's Citadel exploded is that Mega Man teleported back to Dr. Cossack's Citadel after beating Quick Man's stage to fight Dr. Wily LOL
