  • What annoys me most not one of you ever mention Steve Dobson if you didn't know him or his wife Lorna you never went there at the beginning if it wasn't for him there would of never been a Catacombs

  • Went to Cats from 68 to 73, got married & went to live in London for 14 yrs. Back to Wolves for 7 yrs, then on the Costa del Sol for the last 17 yrs. Found an old cassette with NS sounds on it (I had ALL my NS sounds nicked) and it´s revived my faith. Well done to all for the plaque, KTF. Why didn´t we all get burned to death in that firetrap with a narrow wooden staircase to the attic? Can´t beat it!! Anyone know the name of the pub round the corner where we obtained the blues, blacks, dexies?

  • went every sat and sometimes midweek, for many years untill close...the best club with the best atmosphere, and dj's.

  • @drwhatson I dont recall it being played then either

  • Nice footage - but Keanya Collins wasn't played until several months after the Cats closed!

  • Well Memories from my schooldays and Teens ! I also have my original club card which I got when I was 13 Years old, We also use to go to the Ventures in Warstones on a Sat night before hand. When the Djs covered the records with beer mats I always managed to find out the names of the records and bought them from America and resold them in Town or at school. I met my first love there Elaine James and would love to contact her again, Eddie Matusiak, Edmatusiak@live.c.uk Thanks for the memories
