Liecester University, Liecester, UK. Feb '90. A YouTuber with screen name 'Paramouxi' uploaded this awhile ago, but YouTube killed his account. It's a shame too because he had 100+ videos including most if not all of this rarest and earliest concert footage of The Sundays. :(

  • If you watch enough of them, she's always wearing jeans that look too big for her with a thick belt. She's also had the same hairdo since the 80's. That being said, she could pretty much wear trash bags and shave her head and she'd still be my favorite female vocalist of all time.

  • Damn, that girl can sing!

  • Beautiful, love the sundays

  • I love this song, the sundays will be always the best

  • The ending is so absolutely sick-i mean the notes she hits are completely insane! I just hope that she hasn't lost her touch.

  • All of us should be grateful.

Probably I'm the oldest person currently posting here -- I know about The Sundays because I had a young girlfriend, years ago.

I'm grateful for this live and gorgeous sound and song --

cascading guitars, and one of the truly great rock/pop voices.

  • one of my finest memories living abroad in london was walking down the street with a group of floor-mates from my co-ed dorm and this guy thought leicester was pronounced lie-chester. it was such an innocent mistake i corrected him and started giggling because i wasn't their as a tourist anymore and everyone was just getting to know the city.

  • Wow - gobsmacked!

  • Come back Harriet, indeed.

  • Still relevant, Man I miss these guys. David, Harriet, WTF.... please come out of hiding!

  • My very favorite singer when it comes to alternative bands, humble and awesome!

I was never aware that the 12/8 time approach had such an impact on the rhythmical outcome of some of their songs.
