  • This interviewer sucks. He is just a terrible interviewer...he should try a new job that he doesn't suck so much at.

  • Bill Plaschke's and idiot. He was bragging Magic beat him 3 to 1 and Magic basically politely corrected him, calling it 2 of 3. But in 85, Maxwell broke his leg and Bird had an elbow injury. In 87 Parish had a bad ankle (that forced him to come out of ECF Gm 7 twice), McHale was playing on a broken foot, Walton only played in 10 gms in 87 cos of his foot. Oh and let's not forget that the Celts would be 87 rookie of the yr, Len Bias od'd. CONTD

  • Mann these ppl don't know how to respect legends

  • Bird is the GOAT.

  • fuck you !!!! bill fucker

  • @MSHkr Agreed. Bias was so good - that I believe the C's would have 3 peated 86-88 with him and still had a great shot at going for 4 in 89 when Bird was out. And who knows, maybe Bird wouldn't have had to play all of those excessive minutes and been out in 89 anyways.....Furthermore, I agree that if Bias had been there in the 90s he'd definitely have taken Jordan down some pegs and that GOAT talk would not be.

  • @FavreianVengeance -- Actually, Len Bias was WAY better than Green or Thompson. Red Auerbach (who doesn't exaggerate) called him "Michael Jordan without the French pastry." In college - Taller and stronger than Michael Jordan - with the same quickness and range - and a FAR better rebounder - and a better defender. Would he have had the same career as Jordan as a pro. We'll never know.

Now, imagine if Worthy or Magic had died on arrival. How would the Lakers have fared against the Celtics?

  • @FavreianVengeance -- You're right. Injuries matter, and the Celtics, most years, had only one guy who could come off the bench. 82 games is HARD on a body -- especially when you don't get any rest. Each year, only about 5 teams have a real shot at the NBA title. Almost every year, it's the team with the least injuries (usually the team with the deepest bench) who wins. Disclaimer -- I'm a HUGE Celtics fan -- lived in Boston 1983-1986. Bias' death set the Celtics back at least 10 years.

  • "Just me i don`t really like Larry Bird you played him in 12 & won 25 Why do you like him ?" hahaha Lets talk abot the Dodgers ...........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • He guesses what 8+1=?

  • Magic and Larry, both classy guys. Real sportsmen.
