Heh, good answer. 'Course I didn't expect you'd remake the video to fit 'The Hexx'! Just thought I'd mention the uncanny resemblance to the lyrics. A more literal resemblance to be sure.

no video version is better, but htis has higher quality. i pick this.

Well, it's an essayer -- an attempt at expressing some personal interpretation, and that's gotta count for something. But I admit I sort of take issue with people that advertise their videos as Way Better and I get a weird, distracting cartoon that makes me think less about the song. Personally, I'd rather have total darkness.
I see your point, and it makes sense to have a new video on youtube to go with the song you're uploading. I'm here primarily for the songs, though.

see's it all there, see's it behind him...
I'm more appreciative of this now, on the foundation that it Does have better sound than the other still-pic version, although I look at it with mixed feelings still.
Seems like it would go better with The Hexx:
"But I, I saw you.. reeling in a parking lot, / I, I saw you rallying round a parking lot, / Line up for the comfort and kick it on the bumper,/ No, there is no leeway / you're standing on the freeway in love, / Motion, you were destined for the paupers grave..."

@FungusMossGnosis I hear what you are saying but I dont think Ill remake this to the Hexx... I may be contradicting myself here, but...I treat youtube as a sort of reactionary / improvisational space. I can have an idea, do some work, and intervene/participate, but I dont take anything I place here very seriously. It's like fishing. Cast a lure out there and see what you get... I usually dont get much back, but I like our dialogue. So thats like a decent size trout, after a hike.

Love your taste in music, but I have no idea at what you're driving at with this.

@FungusMossGnosis hmm... what am I driving at with this? I suppose I was trying out a few different things. Using the vernacular generic language of sketchup to describe and contrast "a secret knowledge" sketchup is not secret, nor is the scene depicted a backroad. To use sketchup as a video generating tool to subvert big budget film set ideas. Using repetition of figure to emphasize my reading of the lyrics as sort of hopeless and repetitive. Make a video for a song without a video quickly.

@FungusMossGnosis I take issue with the idea of ppl uploading still images for songs to youtube. It seems like a vanity move, they get hits off of others work. they benefit through no effort of their own. the least one can do is make an effort to create a visual interpretation of the thing (song) they appreciate.
