On March 15 SDO will watch the Moon pass in front of the Sun. As SDO moves in its orbit we will see the Moon go over the Sun and then stop and go back over the Sun. This animation shows what we would see if a movie camera was on SDO. Although it will be a New Moon on that day, no transit will be
visible from the Earth.
