After watching tonight's episode "The God Complex" it makes sense that the Doctor was still bothered by the death of Adric. And it was pointed out that it was pointless and painful.

I dare not to watch it. When i originally watched Earthshock, i was traumatized beyond belief, i sat in my room, curled up in a ball in the corner, and cried for days on end. But, the Doctor can go back and save him now, there's no one to punish him for breaking the law... but yes @badwolf8745 it would make sense that Adric would be in the room, it tore him apart probably, knowing he couldnt do anything to save him, just like it ripped us as viewers and Adric fans apart

I was sad for a day when I first saw this. It made such an impact on me as a kid because I really liked Adric.

@Mangolio33 I think Adrics demise wasa shock, in billions of ways and his demise was billions of times more poignant than Gans demise in Blake's Sevn in Pressure Point.
