This moving song from the Maestro Thomas Whitfield has managed to become extremely difficult to find.
Only tributes are available to my knowledge and believe me I have searched this one out.
This is the finale [not the full song] i was fortunate enough to extract from some of my mangled and unlabeled cassettes I have been slowly... transfering to the hard drive.
Some are snapped,stretched and warped from age so this i am glad to say made it.
If there ever was a song that moves me to those beautiful tears every single time this is it.
Originally from a compilation cassette from the 90's.
Excerpt from the legends of Detroit -Of Michigan State University-[Go Blue]
Gospel music fans affectionately referred to Minister Thomas Whitfield (1954-1992) as "The Maestro" because of his reputation as a consummate composer, musician, singer and producer. Whitfield's career began when he was just five years old and took his first piano lessons; by the time he was ten, he was mastering the organ. Over the years, his training in classical music and in traditional gospel coupled with his love for jazz and R&B resulted in the unique "Whitfield Sound."
This is impossible to find! I have to go look for my cassette LOL!

@imsinging4him You too huh???
Oh my gosh... The original cassette I had was a gospel compilation. I've hunted for this a long time. Long before the internet is what it is now and still can't find info on this song. So... Find it, find it... And preserve it. ;0)
