  • why not add a song??

  • There was a song, but SONY was not too happy with it.

  • It is so exciting. I think Isesaki or even Shibukawa is the closest place to where I was. I lived right at the border of Saitama and Gunma, at the western edge of Kanto plain. The village where I lived is called Kamikawa and the nearest larger towns that might tell you something are Honjo, Kumagaya, Fujioka or Takasaki (last 2 in Gunma) which are located on the Takasaki train line. Are you back in Canada? Do you live in Toronto? And finally, are you planning to go back to Japan?

  • Thanks for sharing this. I just came back from a bike tour in Kantou and want to do more.

Is the song from Dreams Come True?

  • The song is by UA and it's called Private Surfer. It came out a few years ago, in 1999 or 2000.

  • Where in Kanto did you ride? I lived there for a while.

  • Wow great pictures! I will go on a hiking tour through Japan in 2011 but if I take a look at your beautiful pictures I would like to go right now ^_^

  • I suggest you stay near mt. fuji or Izu area where you will find the best mountain roads and country roads in Japan.

  • Great video. Can you recommend a small town or village for me to base myself in for 1 to 2 weeks to ride my road bike. Want somewhere in or near the mountains with different options each day. Ayy suggestions ? Thanks

  • That's quite a long distance. Any idea how many K's.

    Really col video BTW.

    Thanks

  • good movie,i want to enjoy the bicycle touring !

  • I used to live in Gunma. On this trip we rode from Narita to Toukyou to Gyouda to Isesaki to Shibukawa to Katashina to Nikkou to Oomama to Kuki to Toukyou and back to Narita. The latter half mostly followed the route described in the Japan Cycling Navigator website.
