Delicious, melt in your mouth cookies that are easy to make!
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter at room temperature
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup all purpose flour

Directions

In a mixing bowl, mix together butter, sugar, salt and vanilla extract until it is creamy and fluffy.
Add flour and mix until well combined.
Cover and refrigerate for an hour or two, or until it is firm.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Form dough into 1 inch balls and place onto baking sheet.
Bake in the oven until the edges of the cookies just start to brown (10 - 13 minutes).

  • can I use regular granulated sugar? or how can I make powdered sugar?

  • @thelaurenator3008 Hi. You do need powdered sugar for this recipe. You can make your own by placing a cup of granulated sugar in a blender or food processor for each cup of powdered sugar needed. Blend at high speed or pulse it until the sugar turns to powder. Be careful as the sugar can scratch your blender pitcher or processor, especially if it is plastic. You can also make this in small batches in a coffee grinder or spice grinder. Hope this helps! Happy Holidays!!!
