Great tutorial. The only problem I had was at the end when I tried to create a Makefile and then run "make"" I wasn't successful. In the video your Makefile is already in your "example" folder from the beginning. Can you post a link to a copy of your makefile? Thanks for the tutorial!

I created an Exit m_menuItem and made the OnMenuSelection equal to OnQuit. I saved then generated. Then I generated inherited class...in the mainframe.cpp I added Close() in the OnQuit function. However when I run the program and hover over File then click Exit nothing happens...any idea? I'm using Visual Studio 2008

WOOOW Amazing, a pretty cute GUI App on C++, I'm starting to learn wxWidgets and I love it, maybe because I hate Java and it's horrible SWING HAHAHAHA
