A BA in business is WORTHLESS.

@ColoFla I don't know, actually. What made me sure that she had a NY accent, I have no idea... I was weird 1 year ago :D

@ChallengeDK Why would you think she has a New York accent? She's an out-of-towner and doesn't have a New York accent at all. She has a generic Midwestern newscaster accent.

i was going to go to school were im currently at which is louisiana. My dream job would be to either be a beautition or working somewhere that involves fashion or photography. I kno it may be hard to suddenly get a job but what would be a good temp job just to get me started to collect money for rent. And yes i wil have my business degree

I think this info is for power networkers.
For others I strongly advise to gain direct experience in your field "before" moving in, if your local market is less competitive. That way you will spend less time in a non-relevant position and have valuable assets to offer NYC employers. With a better professionnal experience and higher pay, you will enjoy your NY life much more.
But everything is possible! Good luck!
I live in alabama and when i graduate from college i want to attend Graduate school at Pace university or John Jays...how will the apartment search work for me since I will be in school only and using the loans to pay for housing?

Your school should have a housing program which will help you. Either for college housing or private housing.

Hi, i noticed that you said, it'll seem impossible at first to land a job if you don't have your business degree, or a degree in law. Well i was considering studying Social Work and then moving to NYC, but business was my second choice; Does that mean Business would be the better decision?

Well you need to research the job environment for social work in NYC is there is a shortage or otherwise you would be in a better position. Business (if you like it) is always a good first degree because it offers skill that are increasingly relevant in work like, marketing, finance, leadership, team building etc. Thanks for the question!
