I know right!! Gabby a cute little thing isn't she!! I would totally be obssesive too!!But maybe not to the extreme of trying to kill Xena,cause she's pretty hottt too!!!

for those who don't belive this subtext thing: it's a fact, that Gabrielle went to China, because she was jealous. she did say that on the ep. Forget Me Not. "i was angry because she (Xena) loved someone else" - as i remember...
plus the actors admitted on the xena cons, that the whole show was just about love, the relationship, journey and destiny of Xena and Gabby. and this is simply beautiful and -true-. ^^

I actually agree with both of your replies, because the great part about the show is that everyone can take what they want. ANd yes, if we follow all seasons only dummies wouldn-t at least suspect that they are intimate. :)

This video in particular actually supports the arguement that they were with and attracted to other people (men and women), but points out that, again from OUR viewpoint, these attractions caused jealousy in the other woman. Nowhere in this video are we painting them as 'plain lesbians', just in love with one another.

Okay to start off with, that is not what we are trying to do. Subtext is about interpretation, not dictating how everyone else should feel about their relationship, no matter how you view it. The point of the SFD's are to have a little fun (because yes that is what we do with characters) and show OUR viewpoint on the matter.
