Schlub Cornet 1st Test.wmv

The first test of the Schlub Bb Cornet. I made this cornet based on drawings and pictures of some top action rotary valve cornets made in Boston in the mid to late 1800's.

My friend is using a B&H Imperial. We are playing some Austrian Jodler duets, and just sight reading, and goofing. We are using a little Canon camera. Nothing fancy, no really cool microphone, we might have well just used a cellphone, and a tin-can with a string, but I think the sound is ok. As for the video, just close your eyes and imagine Bruce Willis, and Jet Li are playing the cornet.

We are just having fun, and these videos are posted for friends and family. Please do not leave bad comments.
