well the reason his lyrics were better on the mixtapes is because nobody knew his name, lupe was hungry and he deserves his gold album and also lupe is one of the best lyrical rappers mainstream/underground AND THAT IS A BIG THING FOR ME TO SAY noticing i listen to immortal tecnique,Jedi mind tricks etc. and he's on that lyrical level. Lupe thinks he dumbed down but he didn't he's the best mainstream artist out there. i hope he gets a platnium hit.
