Hey, yet another cover!!

This is another BRILLIANT song by Avenged Sevenfold. This is another song that I am doing live with my band. It is in Drop D tuning and I tried to throw in a few fills. I know I have done a lot of Avenged recently but that is because they are my favourite band and Johnny's bass lines are just so amazing. Yes, I used a pick but thats because I can't play it fast enough with my fingers. I don't know why people get so uptight about people using picks but if you don't like it when I use a pick, you don't have to leave a comment telling me that you don't like it. Just move on.

Anyway, I am sorry if there are any mistakes. I do not have tabs for this because I learnt it by ear and I improvise some of it. I used my Stingray for this one again. I have not sold my Warwick but I still want to get a five string and I am trying to learn electric guitar so hopefully I will be able to upload some guitar covers in the future (perhaps on another channel).

I hope you enjoy it and please comment (I love reading what other people have to say whether it is good or bad). Sorry for any mistakes and I hope you have a great day wherever you are!;)

  • Did you use a mic through the amp to record this or use another way? Really want to start covering songs myself but not sure which would be the best way to do it

  • @Tm199169 Hi. For this cover I plugged my bass directly in to my macbook. I used garageband to edit and record. Another way I have done it is by plugging my bass into my Korg Pandora PX4D which is an effects processor and then I plug that in to my computer and record that way. If you watch my newest video (motivation) I am using my new Presonus Audiobox to record with. I am planning to show the ways I have been recording soon. Hope this helps. If you need more help let me know. Thanks

  • @SMUDGE2511 which would you say would be the cheapest but obviously decent sounding option? i was thinking of just going through my smaller crate amp to the jack and doing it that way beacuse my bigger amp doesnt have a headphone out port :/

  • @Tm199169 I can't really say what would be best. I just tried different stuff out and found ways that worked. I would suggest checking out some audio interfaces to plug your guitar into. They offer good sound quality and they vary in price. Other than that, the way you suggested sounds like a good way. As I have been saying I will be starting some new stuff including tips on how to record and I will show how I record. Just keep an eye out for it and let me know how you get on. Thanks

  • hey you're really good when you get your tabs ago I would be happy would you say to me that the page uses (if you have used )........

  • @B4SSplayaYEHAA Hi. I am sorry but i did not use tabs for this but i am sure there are plenty on the internet.
