I was sitting at work watching this talk with a few of my friends. I was explaining that Lessig had been a hero of mine for years. I used to have a desktop wallpaper with Lessig standing on the steps of the SCOTUS; probably back in 2002/2003ish. Imagine my surprise when one of my real-life heroes actually quoted me in his talk! And a TEDx talk! I'm completely at a loss. Thanks for the great talk, sir. And don't give up the good fight.

This is Lessig's best video yet! I am a strong conservative who probably disagrees with Lessig on 90% of other issues, but I have been a huge fan of his for years regarding his views on copyright reform and technology law. Thank you for expressing what I have believed all along--that standing for copyright reform and free culture is an inherently conservative issue! I believe in capitalism as much as any conservative, but true capitalism is not about giving corporations a monopoly over culture.
