palm 1 from 0:00 to 0:23 both sides of palm, from double palm 0:24 to 0:34 from here on only one side is done of each palm, 3rd 0:35 to 0:57, 4th 0:58 to 1:19, 5th 1:20 to 1:38, 6th 1:39 to 1:52, 7th 1:54 to 2:03, 8th 2:04 to 2:24 - close form 2: 24 to 2:30. That is Jiang Jung-Ch'iao School of Bagua Zhang.

@buhonival maybe because it is just demonstration and it would just be repeating itself, i've seen the full version of this videoand he does do them on both sides when explaining them just not when demonstrating.

fantastic performance...can anyone tell me why every Jiang Bagua practitioner on YouTube only does one side of each palm?...noone does both sides of each palm....very strange...

I can see that many of you do not know much about Bagua Zhang. Many of you need to realize that this is just the demonstration of the moves and not direct application of the techniques . The techniques are done very fast and are quite applicable in a real fight. Walking the circle is a very important aspect of this art. If someone got tired doing the circle walking then there is something wrong with their training.

Brilliant performance and expression of the art; beautiful to watch. I wish people would stop bickering bout the differences that exist between people and what they practice and rather celebrate what we all have in common,which is a desire to improve our lives through the practice of the arts. By focusing on what we share in common,rather than where we are different,we can hopefully engender more fruitful and constructive union in martial arts.
