love this song!!. I was kind of disappointed because it didn't teach me the full song, a phrase on the outro solo was missing :(... Great Video anyway!

just one little thing to add: this isn't the first solo, there are actually 3 solos in the song, this video has 2 of them, first one played by izzy and the other by slash, then there's another solo from slash at the end of the song, which you guys called the 2nd solo

@SadoPL he's bending the 9th fret G string and at the same time playing (not bending) the 10th fret B string with his pinky, very common little lick used especially in blues and gnr

@BabyBlueBass Actually they split the solo live and in the studio Izzy does the part up until the accending power chords at 0:17 then Slash takes over and does the rest look up their performance at the Ritz in 1988 you'll see.

I already expected a Gn'R video to have more dislikes than usual. Probably because he's not drunk or jerking the guitar around like a fool. That's what you expect from Slash fan boys. The same ones who make him so overrated.
Solo is perfect.. actually better than what Slash used to play live.. too much J.Daniels in his brain

@skatolp i think its the same one that scotti hill of skid row uses live alot, it looks similar to the one he used at wembley 91' opening for gnr.

@licklibrary that is that you learn the song from a partitur for only one guitar or do you learn the slash's guitar and parellel the izzy's guitar ?

man these dvds are good ive only watched it 2xs and i already kno nightrain up to the solo ive only got have of the solo but its pretty easy to learn. best instructional dvd ever, the only thing that sucks is that it only plays in computers or portable dvd players in the us.

does this dvd teach both the rythym and the lead guitar? i know how to play the lead but i want to introduce the song to my bands playlist and i dont really know the rythym at all

@libertarian93 Hi there - all Learn To Play DVD's will teach you all the parts to the songs. Rhythm and Lead parts. Hope that helps.
