THR 347 Coupe All Motor Mustang VS Big Block Camaro Race Car

Texas Hot Rods (THR) N/A (All Motor) 347 Coupe Running a local shootout (12 sec class) so we had to pedal it up top as she usually runs 11.70's.

This run was one of the first passes against a BBC Camaro with a glide and open headers. Mustangs Rule!

That's sad when I could sink say $30,000 into it of performance parts including the building the Engine, Suspension, Rear End, etc and it will RAPE a ZR-1 Vette for what around $75,000 dollars less. And I don't have to have a BLOWER to get 600+ HP like GM had to do to make that Vette worth a shit for performance. One Day though you will become a man and realize what a Real Muscle Car is and forget about the (G)arbage (M)otors everyone and there brother owns one vehicle and get a MOPAR OR FORD.

I'm a little late on the shit talking huh. From what I understand, untoldguitarist hates GM. Had his childhood handed to him on a silver platter, and becuase his dad was rich, got him working some where good because of his connections.. Also, all chevy needs is a dz302 to whoop a 351c. Not a 350. 10,000 is all I need in my 78 camaro to run 10's. And I do the work myself. I don't think it should be a fight between gm and ford anymore. It SHOULD be us vs imports. Just sayin...

1) will it stop faster...no...2) do it have ac...no 3) does it have power steering...no 4) can you drive it out of town comfortably...no 5) will it get the same mpg as a zr1 ..no,and so on..you get what you pay for....why talk about shit about a certain brand,ford,chevy,mopar.dont matter what you drive,is it fast, I like them all

Definitely agree with cam92rss.. although the argument between Ford vs. Chevy can be good in a way, always good competition. Just people take it to another level and say that one is complete trash and the other is so much better. Truth is they took different routes and have different ways of making power. GM generally uses the higher displacement pushrods (LS7) and Ford went with boosted small displacement OHC's (blown mod 5.4 4v). (in general). Domestic > Import.

Finally, someone who understands that not every motor and HP number runs the same. There are a ton of other factors other than the parts and weight of the car. We're running a much larger and better AVG HP/TQ Custom Grind Cam, so it's not just the peak numbers, but the avg power across the band that makes this little coupe run. We also have a 4.56 gear and a custom FacePlated TKO trans with alternate gearing to make this run lo 10's N/A. Sounds like you're buddies car is sick too!
