A couple months ago, Alicia Keys talked about her desire to collaborate with the White Stripes. Shell have to settle for the next best thing, as Keys and Jack White are teaming up for the theme song of the next James Bond film Quantum of Solace. Another Way to Die was written by White, who will also play drums and produce the track. The song marks the first time in Bond history that the films theme will be a duet. When we reported that Keys wanted to collaborate with White, we assumed it was just wishful thinking. We didnt think itd come to fruition so quickly, or that theyd make a Bond theme out of it. The soundtrack for Quantum isnt due out until October 28th. The White/Keys combination beat out rumored candidates Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis and Duffy for the right to try to join Duran Duran, Shirley Bassey and Carly Simon in the Bond theme hall of fame.
