This exercise is done in the form of a drill, preferably with a place marker/cone so that you have a point to point connection. Keep the "booty" low and move legs side to side, going right - then, legs side to side, going left. If you want to amp it up just a bit, better to use weights. Usually a 2 minute interval is preferable. Do not drag the foot.
