Steve Claggett honoured by the Calgary Flames

The NHL's Calgary Flames had a very special guest earlier this evening when they honoured newly crowned WBC light welterweight Youth Intercontinental champion Steve 'The Dragon' Claggett before a capacity crowd of 19,000 plus. The local 21 year old captured the title last week when he stopped previously unbeaten Mexican Jose Mendoza to improve his pro record to 11-0-1 (6 KOs). Claggett was interviewed during a TV timeout where he received a warm ovation from the crowd after pledging to put Calgary back on the international boxing map.
