  • Reducing PR to sending press releases is quite a simplistic approach. Last two years, I put a client of mine in the press constantly and in a good way but we have only sent two press releases in total, if I remember well, not more than three at any rate. So, the concept of PR strategy is missing from this old-fashioned PR-talk. Charles van der Hoog

  • At first, PR is communication with the wide range of constituencies. It's the main distinguishing feature of PR communication. E.g. advertising communication is

    tightly directed to target audience.

    But at the same time PR practitioners need to spread really actual and interesting information which can help people make their own choice between thousands firms, goods and services. Coz we live in the on-line World when every person can make his own information impact by way of Social Media.
