My Tattoo and Piercings

I got my tattoo on 3/29/11
I still need to do a touch up to thicken the words but I haven't gotten around to it yet
It is in Italian, it says "Niente accade per caso", translated as... "nothing happens by chance"
and of course I know lots of things happen by chance, (pregnancies, death, etc)

But when I decided to get this tattoo, I got it because I was raised to be a strong believer of hard work and perseverance. I believe that I (or anyone else) can't just sit around hoping for good things to happen, I have to work hard to get what I want, when I want. I don't appreciate how people can just sit around and expect good things to come to them just because they come from a better background or based off of how they look or what they wear. Yes, some things do happen by chance, but I'm not the type of person to put things to chance, I want to be the one that's in control of my future and what it brings. So I got this as a reminder to myself to work hard and fight for my goals.
